New digital systems

Crown Courts in the UK have recently updated all cases to a secure digital system.  This has speeded up service of material and significatly reduced time in matters coming to Court.  We have attended regular meetings at our nearby Reading Crown Court together with defence solicitors and Resident Judge to assist in the administration of the new systems.

This has reduced the huge amount of paper necessary in the past and made access to files faster and more efficient for counsel.  Reading Crown Court was one of the earliest Courts to adopt this procedure and has in our view been very successful.
